We run an activity centre catering for up to 45 people in Consett. Based at the Parliament Street Centre in Consett County Durham. Consett YMCA's base also provides accommodation for groups and individuals from around Britain and from countries across Europe and the rest of the world.

Consett YMCA offer a high quality value experience coupling high quality adventure activities with good quality group accommodation. We have extensive experience of providing educational and recreational activities for over twenty years.

Consett YMCA employs a very experienced and highly qualified team of instructors who not only run activity courses but are also involved in the training and assessment of outdoor instructors to national standards.

Our hostel at Consett can provide accommodation for up to forty five guests. The centre is situated in County Durham the edge of Northumberland National Park and the North Pennines.

Activities on offer include:
Canoeing, Kayaking, Hill-walking, Windsurfing, Rock Climbing and Abseiling, Orienteering, Problem Solving and Team Building, White Water Rafting and Skiing.
